2. Metal Corrosion Inhibitor
Principle: Dicyclohexylamine (or its salts, such as dicyclohexylamine nitrite or carbonate) can adsorb onto metal surfaces (such as steel and copper) to form a dense protective film, inhibiting contact between the metal and water/oxygen, thereby preventing corrosion;
Application: Added to rust preventive oils, cutting fluids, and antifreeze for rust protection of metal components such as automotive engines, machine tools, and pipelines; it is particularly suitable for neutral or weakly alkaline environments.
